The president of Krommenhock Software Services Inc., Frances Krommenhock, has been programming on OpenVMS systems since 1983, starting with a large real-time system for nuclear power plants. This system was written in Fortran 76. In 1986, she went to work for Digital Equipment Corporation to work on a semiconductor system written both in Ada and Macro Assembly languages. Following this assignment were other assignments in Ada, Cobol, Fortran, C and Basic, as well as DCL. Also she performed system analysis and capacity planning for a number of DEC customers. Since 1992, she has been working as an independent consultant on ManMan programs. Most of ManMan is written in Fortran using Oracle DBMS, and many of the commands use DECForms.
